Control Expert 14 returns 'Unknown fatal exception' error when creating a new application after closing an existing one.

Windows 7, windows 8, Windows 10

Resolution
The issue is due to a bad installation of Control Expert.  The following steps can be used to resolve the issue:

• Backup the saved applications.
• Uninstall ‘Control Expert 14’
• Uninstall the ‘EcoStruxture Control Expert PSx DTM Library’
• Delete the folders that were left behind (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Schneider Electric\Control Expert 14.0)
• Reboot the PC.
• Clean out the 'C:\Users\SESA40~1\AppData\Local\Temp' folder.
• Run a registry cleaner.
• Reboot he PC
• Reinstall Control Expert.
• Retest.
• Install the hotfixes in order (Run Control Expert after each install of the hotfix.)
• Retest.
