Issue:

The HMISTO511 is no longer available to order. What is the best alternative?

Resolution:

Here are the possible alternatives to replace the HMISTO511. Note that neither are direct replacements.

1) HMISTO715

Pro: Similar size compared to the HMISTO511. Note however the HMISTO715 is a bit larger so the cut out needs to be enlarged slightly.

Pro: The screen is larger and is in full color.

Pro: Supports Zelio protocol (if needed)

Con: This model is programmed with EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert. The application will need to be remade from scratch

Con: The software license for EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert (Basic or Professional) will need to be purchased.

2) HMISTU655

Pro: The old application made for the HMISTO511 could be easily migrated over to the HMISTU655 with little to no changes.

Pro: The software is free (Vijeo Designer Limited edition)

Con: The mounting is a 22mm hole so the existing cutout will need to be patched.

Con: The HMISTU655 will be discontinued in 2024
