Why do I have a "Communication Error" When Opening LOGINSERTER Node with PME Designer ?

Issue

When opening the LOGINSERTER Node with PME Designer a "Communication Error" message box is displayed.

In the system log you will see a CRITICAL error stating ‘Caught: ‘Parse Error Caught parse error 6 during PICType: write’ file C:\Dev\agent2\work\26\s\PEGASYS\src\pegasys\vip\kernel\server\progman.cpp line 160'

Root Cause

If you are using the Log Inserter in ‘Input Logs’ mode and linking device data recorders to a Log Acquisition module, it is possible to see this error if there are an extremely large number of inputs (possibly greater than 3000).

Proposed Solution

Create multiple Log Acquisition Modules.
Do not link more than 3000 Inputs on each Log Acquisition Modules.
