Can a PM5500 series meter have a Modbus TCP/IP and BACnet IP master connection simultaneously?

A customer needs to connect one PM5500 meter to two different sites using two different protocols.

BACnet and Modbus are different communication protocols.

• BACnet is a broadcasting protocol where devices continuously listen to the master. When their turn (token) comes, they respond to the master.
• Modbus, on the other hand, is a request/reply protocol that provides services defined by function codes. These function codes are elements of the Modbus request/reply Protocol Data Unit (PDU).

The PM5500 meter can communicate with both systems simultaneously without any issues.
