Can IO Scanner be modified in an M580 Hot Standby system without interruption?
Issue
Looking to add, remove or modify devices from the NOC or CPU DTM. Can this be done without process interruption?
Resolution
Yes, this can be done. As of Unity V12, all Control Expert and v2.8 of M580, the ability to apply an offline application modification and return to a Standby state was introduced. This is accomplished using the HSBY_BUILD_OFFLINE block. It supports modifications that require an offline BUILD CHANGE. It will not support ReBuild All modifications, only Build Change.
