Are 4-position selector switches available in the Harmony 22 mm operator range?
1. What you need to know
Harmony XB4/XB5 push button ranges do not have 4-position selector switches: there are only 2-position (90°) or 3-position (±45°) selector switches. 4-position selector switches for a 22 mm hole are available in Harmony K1/K2 and Harmony K10 rotary cam switches. Examples include K1D004NCH (K1, 1 pole, 4 positions at 45°, 12 A) and K10D004NCH (K10, 1 pole, 4 positions, 10 A). Both ranges fit a Ø22 mm cut-out but differ significantly from Harmony XB4/XB5 selector switches.
2. Key points
- Unlike Harmony selector switches, Harmony K cam switches come with fixed contacts in the body, it is not modular. Number of contacts depends on reference.
- XB4/XB5, K1/K2 and K10 ranges have different form factors and dimensions.
- K1/K2, K10 and XB4/XB5 are not compatible and cannot be mixed.
- Harmony K can fit a Ø22 mm cut-out similar with XB4/XB5.
- Harmony K rotary cam switches can be chosen with or without neutral position 0 where no contact is operated.
