Is the Modbus ASCII serial transmission mode supported in SmartX Servers?
Issue:
Modbus ASCII serial transmission mode support in EcoStruxure Building Operation SmartX servers.

Product line:
EcoStruxure Building Operation, Automation Servers (AS, AS-P, AS-B)

Resolution:
SmartX servers (AS, AS-P, or AS-B) support both RTU and ASCII serial transmission modes.  In WorkStation, you can select either one of these modes in the Framing mode section of the network properties.
To ensure that all devices on a Modbus serial line can communicate with each other, you must set the transmission mode (and serial port parameters, for example baud rate and parity) to be the same for all devices.
