Issue
The autorization tool for ProWORX 32 is not able to see the networked drive.
Product Line
ProWORX 32
Environment
ProWORX 32, Windows XP Professional
Resolution
The autorization tool for ProWORX 32 is not able to see the networked drive. This could occur if the user does not have full administrator riights to the
drive or if user access control is enabled.
To reoslve the issue,
When UAC is enabled in Windows and you are a member of the Administrators group, you actually end up with two logon sessions - one as a regular user and one as an
administrator. Your mapped drives are only associated with your regular user logon session, so when you run a program as administrator it does not see the mapped drives.
Note: This is not a product issue. It is due to the Windows operating system behavior.
