Sometimes, when a Geo SCADA dongle is plugged in, the light turns green briefly and then shuts off. When trying to obtain a locking code in the Field Exchange utility, the following error message appears 'Could not find key! Error Code is 9.'
This error indicates that either the dongle is not connected to the machine, or it is not being detected. If the dongle is plugged in and worked on another machine, it’s possible that IT has disabled the USB ports as a security measure.
To resolve this issue, please check the connection and ensure the dongle is properly recognized by the machine.
