PowerChute can no longer send Email using Microsoft Exchange/Outlook with Basic Authentication (SMTP Auth)

Issue:
As of 16 September 2024, Microsoft no longer allows basic authentication for personal customers.  As a result, PowerChute can no longer connect to smtp-mail.outlook.com to send email notifications.

Basic Authentication support will be removed from Exchange Online accounts from March 2026 onwards.
