PME - How to move Designer modules into or out of a Grouping Object

Issue

There is a need to move modules onto different windows or pages of the same diagram to organize them.

Note: These steps are for moving modules within the same Designer node (ION meter or VIP). When copying modules to a different node, review the paste window carefully since a lock paste can unintentionally overwrite existing modules.

1. Select the modules you want to move, then open Edit > Copy:

2. Navigate to the other window of the same Designer node, then open Edit > Paste.

3. Lock paste all modules and select Maintain external inputs. To lock paste all modules, select the first checkbox in the list, press and hold the Shift key, then click the last checkbox in the list.

4. Click OK. Changes are automatically saved.
