There are various possibilities due to the fact the ATV66 could be used as a Constant Torque or a Variable Torque drive. Therefore, it's important to know the application, as the replacements have been separated into Constant and Variable Torque application drive groups.
There have been several revisions of drives since the ATV66 was made obsolete. Therefore, it is best to consider the requirements afresh.
The current ranges that may be acceptable are :
For Variable torque loads (pump and fans) the ATV600 or ATV212 drives can be used selected depending on application depending if used on industrial use or HVAC applications for buildings.
For constant torque loads the the options would be the ATV320 , ATV340 or ATV 900 series drives.
The ATV320 being a general propose constant torque machine drive does have a variable torque motor control mode selection available in the unit.
Either download the catalogue for the ranges to find a suitable drive or contact Schneider Electric and we will assist you in selection
If you need support in selection it would be useful to have the following information available:
- Motor kW or HP rating?
- Motor Voltage?
- Motor Current?
- Application (eg Machine, Pump, Fan etc)?
- Load type or Torque Requirements (Variable or Constant)?
- Input voltage and number of Phases?
- Any required communication networks?
This is not an exhaustive list, but will assist in directing to a suitable replacement or new drive.
