I have sent a TwidoSuite project to someone but they can't open it, how should I save the project so that they can open it?

To send a TwidoSuite project via email etc, it should be saved as an archive file.

1. Select the 'Project' tab
2. Select 'Save current project'
3. Select the file format as 'TwidoSuite archive', then save.

The project is then saved as a single archive file (.xar).  By default, it will be saved under C:\Program Files\Schneider Electric\TwidoSuite\My Projects.

Note: The Twido range is discontinued and the possible replacement is the Modicon M221. The software to program this new controller is the EcoStruxure Machine Expert Basic also free. The software can automatically be migrated to this new platform but check with our support center your architecture to validate the migration.
