What would cause an EPF2 fault on the ATV61 drive with an Ethernet IP card?

Altivar ATV61

Environment:
All

Cause:
Using an Allen Bradley PLC trying to access assemblies 103 and 104, and the drive has not been set up per case 2 example as recommended in the Ethernet IP VW3A3316 manual.

Resolution:
Case 2 programming example is as follows:

• Menu 1.6
• Ref 1= Communications card
• Profile= Separate controls
• CMD switching= C312
• CMD channel 1= Communication card
• CMD channel 2= Terminal control
• Ref 2 Switching= C313
• Ref 2 Channel= AI1 or AI2
