Goals and Symptoms
When IOScanner bandwidth exceeds 100%:
- with Unity Pro V<4.0 : the information is displayed in the Bandwidth Tab of the Communication screens and
the build succeeds with the message : The module load must not exceed 100% (with a user acknowledgement).
- with Unity Pro V >=4.0 : the information is displayed in the Bandwidth Tab of the Communication screens and
the build failed with the message : Bandwidth: The total estimation must not exceed 100%.
Causes and Fixes
The calculation of the bandwidth is a function of the traffic (number of devices, length of messages ...) and of the "Repetitive Rate".
If the number of devices and length of messages are in the right limit (see in on line Help), increasing the "Repetitive Rate" allows a reduction of the bandwidth.
