To unlock the Generic Windows PC target type. You need to go to the Help Menu and select "About..."

Resolution:
To unlock the Generic Windows PC target type. You need to go to the Help Menu and select "About..."
Under the License tab select the "Upgrade.." button. Input "VJDHTGTSPVxxM" in the Upgrade Reference
Number field. (where xx denotes the version of Vijeo Designer, if you are running V6.0 use "60" in it's place.)
