Can Altivar drives be used for frequency converters to operate equipment other than motors?

Issue:
Altivar drives used in equipment that aren't motors.

Cause:
None

Resolution:
Altivar drives are designed for motors.  If an application calls for supplying power to anything other than a motor, a drive should not be used for that application. Please contact your local ADM(Area Drives Manger) for any special applications.
