Can the error 'General Protection Fault @ UIK.dll' when opening a Concept project be corrected?

Delete the project's .DSK file and reopen the project.

DSK /Desktop file
The .dsk file contains the graphical information about the session (e.g. information
about opened sections and the position of the windows). This file is created when
the project is saved.
