1) Make sure to Flush the data. This moves the data from the SRAM to file. The File is either the secondary or optional drive depending on what is selected in the data location.  To do that you can execute the FlushAllDataLogging() script command.

2) Periodic data logging in Vijeo Designer only adds a new record when the value change.
