Cannot connect to either a M340 or Quantum PLC with Unity 11.1 running in VMWare after updating to Unity 11.1

Unity fails to connect to the either a M340 or Qunatum PLC after updating to Unity 11.1

Resolution
Attempts to to connect to either a Quantum or M340 after updating to Unity 11.1 from Unity 11, could fail if it is installed in a VMware workstation PC..
Prior to updating to Unity 11,1 the problem did not occur.

The following can be used as a workaround.

• Uninstall the PLCUSB Driver X64 that was installed by Unity 11.1 until a new driver is available.

• Insert the Unity 11.0 CD
• Open the folder named 'Communications Drivers'.

• Double click on the file named 'SchneiderPLCUSBDriverSuite' to install the driver.
