PlantStruxure PES[4.3]: Vijeo Citect:Error- Unknown Protocol(F4027) during Supervision Executable Build

This Knowledge base explains about the error message “Unknown Protocol(F4027)” while doing supervision build.

This document has been created for PES version 4.3, however it can be used for other versions as well.

In a normal project development using PES, user can have Supervision projects which can have multiple IO devices, ports etc.
So, during the project development the user could miss out linking a Tag container to the IO device.
In this scenario when the user does a build project he can get this below error.




To solve this issue, the user must check that all the IO devices are configured with appropriate Tag container.






After linking the appropriate Tag container, the build will be successful.
