What would cause the customers Ethernet switch to not allow the ATV630 and ATV930 drives single Ethernet port connections?

Issue:
Possible cause that Ethernet switch not allowing the ATV630/930 drives single Ethernet port connections.

Product Line:
ATV630 and ATV930 using Ethernet and only one of the two parts are used like in a star configuration.

Environment:
All

Cause:
Rapid spanning tree for the Ethernet port is active.

Resolution:
Using somove you will need to turn off the RSTP under the Ethernet settings to allow the singe Ethernet connection to the switch.
