Can I use an LTMR Tesys T product to convert between Ethernet IP and Modbus RTU?

Issue:
Customer has an Ethernet IP control network and a device that will communicate Modbus RTU only.  They want to use the Tesys T as a protocol bridge to control the Modbus RTU device.

Product Line:
Tesys T LTMR product.

Environment:
All Ethernet modes, All serial numbers.

Cause:
No information on this configuration available in current literature.

Resolution:
It is not recommended.  Portions of this configuration may work but some portions may not.   This has not been tested for compatibility or reliability and cannot be recommended.  A dedicated Protocol Bridge should be used in this situation.
