ENM is not showing Cause, Cause Value, Effect and Effect Value attributes

Issue
Certain attributes are missing in ENM Monitoring as shown below:

1) The following error keeps occurring in ENM Diagnostics:

App Domain Name: SEEGS.exe
Process Name: E:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\StruxureWare Solutions\Event Gathering Service\SEEGS.exe
Error: There was an error looking up the categories for an alarm event. Are all of your category ids present in the definitions?


2) The following error is observed in Windows Application Event Viewer:

"The description for Event ID 100 from source ENS cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

Cause
The errors indicate that there is a problem with the Alarm Definitions. ENM encountered an error while looking up the categories for an alarm event.

Resolution
To realign the alarm definitions, do the following:

  1. Restart the Application Modules Core Services Host service.
  2. Restart the SE Event Gathering Service
  3. Refresh tags on the ENM Configuration Event Sources tab.
