Upgrading SRTL2K2RM1UC, SRTL2K2RM1UWC, SRTL2K2RM1UIC, SRTL3KRM1UC, SRTL3KRM1UWC and SRTL3KRM1UIC units from UPS FW 05.0 or older

Issue:

There is an issue upgrading SRTL2K2RM1UC, SRTL2K2RM1UWC, SRTL2K2RM1UIC, SRTL3KRM1UC, SRTL3KRM1UWC and SRTL3KRM1UIC with UPS version FW 05.0 or older from the SmartConnect portal

Smart-UPS Online LION "SRTL"

Environment:

SRTL2K2RM1UC, SRTL2K2RM1UWC, SRTL2K2RM1UIC, SRTL3KRM1UC, SRTL3KRM1UWC and SRTL3KRM1UIC

Resolution:

In order to properly use SmartConnect to upgrade your UPS Firmware, please upgrade to UPS 05.6 using the Firmware Upgrade Wizard.  You can follow the Firmware Upgrade Wizard instructions here - https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA279197/.
