Side by Side Configuration error is incorrect on SCADAPack E configurator

Problem:

The application failed to start because its Side-by-Side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more derails.

using windows event viewer>windows logs>applications; to view events that have occurred on your computer.

If the error indicates Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",

version could not be found.

Follow the steps below:

• Uninstall the SCADAPack E configurator.
• Install the C++ 2005 redistributable using the link below.

• Re install the SCADAPack E configurator.
