Is it acceptable to supply an external 24V, 1A source to the M241 PLC inputs?

It is acceptable to use a 24v / 1A external power supply for the PLC inputs.

But we have to include the protection such as fuses on each COM connections:

A: Sink wiring

B: Source wiring
