How to Activate Power Monitoring Expert License Offline Using MySchneider Portal

Issue:

The old FlexNet portal has been decommissioned for the new MySchnider Portal to Activate Licenses.

License Configuration Tool

Resolution:

1. In the License Configuration Tool click on the "Activate License" option. Note: This option will be greyed out if a license has already been activated and not properly returned. Please see instructions here based off type of return: Returning a license.
2. Enter the proper Activation ID and download the request file to the desired path. Note: If the server does not have internet access this will need to be moved to a computer that does to upload the file to the following website.

3. Once the request file has been downloaded, go to the mySchneider licenses website and sign in with your mySchneider account credentials. Note: If you do not have an account, please go through the process of creating one.
4. Once in the portal, please press the "Offline Activation" button.

5. On the next screen upload the request file downloaded from the server and press the "Generate Response File" option.

6. Please collect the "response file" and move file to application server (if needed).
7. Complete the activation process by navigating to location of the response file and entering it into the License Configuration Tool pop up window.
8. Verify that the license appears after activating.
