Issue:
The UPS displays a battery warning or requires battery replacement.

Cause:
The replacement battery module (SRYLBM) has failed or reached the end of its service life.
Resolution:
The Smart‑UPS Modular Ultra uses user‑replaceable battery module part number: SRYLBM.
Please review the battery safety information included with this article prior to replacing the battery module.
Battery Replacement Steps:
- Turn the battery module knob to the OFF position.
- Loosen the thumb screw by moving it upward or downward, depending on where the battery module is installed.
- Pull the battery module out of the UPS.
- Slide the new battery module (SRYLBM) fully into the slot.
- Tighten the thumb screw to secure the new battery module.
- Turn the battery module knob to the ON position.
