To implement remote access on GPRS, each component connected to the network must know the public IP address(static) or the name of all components connected to the system. These
components are the operator workstations and the TSX ETG 302X remote terminal units. On a GPRS network the public IP addresses are provided by the ISP (Internet Service Provider).
With a standard mobile Internet subscription, the ISP renews the public IP addresses periodically. These types of addresses are called dynamic public IP addresses. To
assign one of these as a static URL (Uniform Resource Locator), you can use a dynamic Domain Name System. The TSX ETG 302X module embeds a DynDNS client,
using DynDNS the URL names are pre-formatted, for example: xxxx.dyndns.info.
