What does it meant "Uct = 36 KV DC" on rating plate of Premset (Cable testing and cable diagnosis option).
This is a new rating, introduced in the latest edition of IEC 62271-200, regarding the ability of a disconnecting device to withstand the cable test voltage on one side and the network voltage on the other side. By the way, it gives also the maximum rating of applicable cable test voltage (Uct, ct stands for "cable test").
