When you configure R3 = tAI (Motor Thermal Alarm): this relay will be activated when the tHr (motor thermal state) is > 110%. in this case ATS48 will not trip in fault. the state of R3 will be deactivated if tHr <110%.
Note: A thermal fault stops the motor if it exceeds the critical temperature rise threshold (motor thermal state >125%).
