The distance protection devices of the MiCOM P43x range are designed for three types of protection: selective short-circuit, ground fault and overload.
This flexible, easily integrated range of distance protection relays can be applied in all kinds of medium, high and extra high-voltage systems. The range is user-friendly and equipped with a complete range of quality protection and control functions.
Numerous protection functions and user-friendly interfacing
The MiCOM P43x range, available for flush or wall mounting, offers a wide range of functions that cover all applications in cable and overhead line protection. It also offers numerous back-up protection and control functions, and provides four setting groups for easy adaptation to varying system operation conditions.
The user-friendly user interface and various communication interfaces allow easy and entire device settings and readings from extensive recordings. Its many integrated communication protocols enable quick, simple interfacing to almost any kind of substation control or SCADA system.
Easy integration into substations
MiCOM P43x is equipped with 1A/5A setting software and two communication interfaces, for substation control system and remote access. The InterMiCOM protection interface provides direct end-end communication between two protection devices, which can be easily integrated into the substation.
