Where is a remote start/stop contact wired to the S-Flex 212 drive?

Issue:
Remote start/stop contact wiring to the S-Flex 212 Drive

Product Line:
S-Flex

Environment:
All models

Cause:
None

Resolution:
For an S-Flex that does not have the bypass option, wire a dry contact between the field terminals P24 and F.

For an S-Flex that has the bypass option, there was a design change 1/2013 that changed the control circuit.  Consult the S-Flex labelling to determine the design.
The earlier version has the run contact wired to field terminals P24 and F.  This is in the 24Vdc control circuit.
The later version has the run contact wired to field terminals 5 and 6.  This is in the 120Vac control circuit.

In all cases, a contact closure runs the drive and opening the contact stops the drive.  For units with bypass option, the selector switch needs to be in AFC.
