PME - Vista: "A generic diagram for the selected device could not be found" for some Sepam variants
Issue
PME does not automatically recognize some of Sepams variants:

M40, S24, S44, S50, S51, S52, S54, S53, T24, T50, T52

Vista shows an error ("A generic diagram for the selected device could not be found Sepam.") when clicking to open a generic device diagram for the following Sepam variants:

Product Line
Power Monitoring Expert 2020
Power Monitoring Expert 9.0

Environment
Vista

Cause
The registry keys for these device types were not created by the installer.

Resolution
Download the .reg file for the correspondent PME version and import it
  1. Change the file extension from ".txt" to ".reg"
  2. Open an Explorer (explorer.exe) window.
  3. Browse to the .reg file you downloaded.
  4. Double-click on the file.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the import.
  6. You can accomplish the same thing within Registry Editor by going to File → Import.

It is highly recommended that you export PME registry settings to create a restore point in case something goes wrong.

Additional Notes
From PME 2021 onwards these registry keys will be created at install time.
