There are four sizes of racks, chosen according to the number of modules you wish to use: The list above gives the number of usable slots.

BMXXBP0400 rack (4 slots)
BMXXBP0600 rack (6 slots)
BMXXBP0800 rack (8 slots)
BMXXBP1200 rack (12 slots)


Ethernet Racks
Ethernet racks have all the features of the X Bus racks with the addition of an Ethernet communication bus across the backplane.
The M340 can use the BMEXBP racks However the Ethernet connection is not used in Modicon M340 architectures.

BMEXBP0400, BMEXBP0400H  - 4 slots
BMEXBP0800, BMEXBP0800H  - 8 slots
BMEXBP1200, BMEXBP1200 H  - 12 slots (1)
BMEXBP0602, BMEXBP0602H  - 6 slots (2)
BMEXBP1002, BMEXBP1002H  - 10 slots (2,3)

(1). This rack has eight slots with X Bus and Ethernet connectors plus four slots (slot numbers 02, 08,10, and 11) with X Bus connector only.
(2). Dual power supply racks are compatible with the BMXCPS4002 redundant power supply.
(3). This rack has eight slots with X Bus and Ethernet connectors plus two slots (slot numbers 08 an 02) with X Bus connector only
