How can Schneider Electric Soft Starts be used to run three phase motors in both direction(Forwards and Reverse)

Soft Starters can not reverse the direction of the motor. To achieve reversal of the motor’s direction a set of reversing contactors must be wired in circuit up stream of the soft start. The control system used must ensure that motor has stopped before changing contactors and restarting. This operation is not recommended for a frequently oscillating system, a VSD would be recommended for this.
