What is the impedance of the analog inputs on the ATV600 / 900 series drives?
Issue:
Are there impedance on the analog inputs of the ATV600 / 900 series drives?

Product Line:
ATV600 and ATV900

Environment:
All models, all serial numbers

Cause:
Customer's analog signal may have insufficient power to properly drive the input.

Resolution:
If the analog input is configured for voltage, then the impedance is 30K Ohms.
If the analog input is configured for current, then the impedance is 250 Ohm.  This is done so that you do not need to break the circuit, and place a milliamp meter in series to measure the input signal.  You can measure DC volts across this resistor (analog input to ground) to determine the input current.   4ma will product 1.0VDC, 20ma will product 5.0VDC.
