Why does the BMXNOM0200 randomly stop sending data (eg. using Print_char) out on its serial port?
This occurs if there is no activity on the other serial port that is receiving data (eg. using Input_Char or Input_Byte).
To prevent the output connection from closing, it is necessary to make use of the Acknowledge bit in the GEST array of the input serial communication function. As per below documentation, the process involves writing 1 to the acknowledge bit (eg. Gest[1].2) constantly. This is applicable to both the Input_Char and Input_Byte EF.
