When working with M580 Hot Standby application, why do I sometimes see the Device DDT type T_M_ECPU_HSBY and other times T_M_ECPU_HSBY_EXT

Answer :

This is based on the application level of your application.

If you have an application defined with an M580 of 2.70 and lower, you will see the T_M_ECPU_HSBY.

M580 2.70

If you have an application defined with an M580 of 2.80 and higher, you will see the T_M_ECPU_HSBY_EXT.

M580 2.80
