Problem
After upgrading to Geo SCADA 2023, I am no longer able to delete historic data.
Solution
Starting in Geo SCADA 2023, there is a new setting in the server configuration | Historic Configuration | Historic Data dialog titled, âAllow Historic Data to be Deletedâ.
If this box is unchecked, Geo SCADA users will not have the ability to delete historic data.
Users may check/uncheck this box and apply the setting with immediate efficacy. A server restart is not required for this change to take effect.
(Note: a Historic Trend that is open (in ViewX) will need to be closed and then re-opened in order for a change to the âDelete Dataâ option to be seen.)
