Discover VigiPacT

Vigipact relays detect insulation faults by continuously monitoring earth leakage current. Then they offer 2 options : • Protection: when leakage current reaches the set threshold, they trip the circuit-breaker upstream, by activating its shunt trip auxiliary. • Monitoring and alarming, by LED, bar graph, or digital touchscreen on front, and by a dry contact output. Multi-line versions are capable of monitoring up to 12 lines with one device, connected to 12 current sensors.
Benefits of VigiPacT
Benefits of VigiPacT
Reliable protection
• Self-monitoring - every internal failure is notified. • Access to settings is locked while other buttons remain at your disposal. • ComPacT circuit-breakers – complete switch off within 40 ms after the set time delay. • Overvoltage withstands category IV for A type – category III for B type.
Minimised downtime
• Trip time delays enable the selectivity between earth-fault protections. • No trip under leakage currents below 80% of the set threshold (vs standards tolerance down to 50%). • No trip under transient leakage currents, caused for instance by capacitor charging, or by motor or transformer switching.
Optimised continuity
• Sensitivity to harmonics adapted to hazardous leakage intensity at every frequency. • True RMS earth-leakage current monitoring • Inverse-time tripping curve. • Test without trip available.
Sustainable and certified
• ISO 14001-certified manufacturing sites. • Green Premium labelled. • All parts marked for sorting and recycling purposes. • Designed using EIME software (Environmental Information and Management Explorer). • RoHS and REACh compliant.
