What causes Concept Modbus connection error 'OL9-1501 Timed out waiting for response from controller'.

Troubleshooting:

If configured for MB RTU mode, switch to ASCII mode. Put switch in ASCII position and connect to MB1 with ASCII 7, 1, even.
If using USB converter, turn off wireless card , if present.
Disable AB drivers
Confirm pinout of Modbus cable.

MB parameters correct? 9600, 8, 1, even
