ION8650 meter Energy Edit value cannot be changed beyond 2,147,483,647.

Cause
ION8650 meter Energy Edit value cannot be changed beyond 2,147,483,647. Meter unable to write the register value which is maximum value or the value which is greater than the maximum length of 32 bit register value.
Resolution
Please follow the below steps to resolve the issue.
1.Please use the latest revision of ION setup, you can download from the below link. https://www.se.com/ww/en/download/document/ION_Setup_Latest_Release/
2. Before proceeding please take a backup of meter configuration files (.dcf & meter report). Then upgrade the meter firmware to the latest one. And don’t update the template since it may have the custom configurations.
3. This issue can be fixed by adding “.” Manually in the register, it is always recommend editing the register with decimal values as shown below
