Features
SCADAPack RTUs are used in remote applications for process monitoring, control and data communication. RTUs employ industry-standard communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus for communication with other devices and SCADA Host software. SCADAPack 470 and 474 are designed for the harsh conditions associated with remote sites in applications such as Water and Wastewater (WWW) or Oil and Gas (O&G). SCADAPack Smart RTUs can be used to transport field data through low bandwidth and/or non-permanent communication links such as cellular, PSTN, and radio.
SCADAPack 47x features:
• Enhanced memory, faster CPU (multi-core processor and customer ASIC) and room to grow with high-level structured programming tools
• Enhanced cybersecurity, Achilles® testing, IP whitelist, secure by default with IP services turned off until needed
• x70 Logic (IEC 61131-3) based on EcoStruxure™ Control Expert (Unity Pro) software components
• Optional Realflo™ O&G flow computer licensing for 3, 6, or 10 flow runs
• Dual independent Ethernet and 4 serial ports with Modbus store-and-forward and/or DNP3 routing
• File system with USB device port and microSD port for expansion or transport of data
• Two RTU variants (470 and 474) with I/O mixes suitable for medium and small I/O applications
