What are the basic wiring differences when replacing an ATV58 with an ATV61/71 drive?

Issue:
Differences between the ATV58 and the ATV61/71 drives

Product Line:
Altivar ATV58, ATV61, ATV71

Environment:
All

Cause:
Replacing the old ATV58 drive with a new ATV61 drive. What are the main wiring changes between the two drives?

Resolution:
In most cases, the wiring is going to be one to one when you convert the ATV58 over to the ATV61 drives.  It always helps if you have the old drawing number for the ATV58 to make sure any HOA controls are programmed correctly when switching over from the old ATV58 to the new ATV61.
2 wire control is default control on both ATV58 and ATV61 drives.
LI1 is start FWD on old ATV58 and ATV61.
+24vdc same on old ATV58 and ATV61
R1 is the same on the old ATV58 and ATV61
R2 is the same on the old ATV58 and ATV61
AI1 on the ATV58 is AI1+ on the new ATV61
Com is the same on the old ATV58 and new ATV61
AI2 on the ATV58 is the same on the new ATV61.

What is new on the ATV61 and ATV71?:
There is a jumper wired between +24 and PWR.  This is a factory jumper to satisfy the PWR permissive circuit. Please leave this jumper in place unless you are using the PWR input.
There is a factory jumper between AI1- and com. Please leave this jumper in place to allow the drives AI1 input to be 0 vdc to 10vdc. If you take out that jumper the AI1 input becomes a bipolar -10vdc to +10vdc input.
