What to do when Web Gate says the Side-by-side configuration is incorrect?

Web Gate is unable to launch and there is an error stating that the Side-by-Side configuration is incorrect.

Resolution:
When there is an error in Web Gate that states your Side-By-Side configuration is incorrect and the runtime cannot start, this means the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ redistributable package has not been installed properly. In order to resolve this problem, you will need to install the Pre-requisite files for the Web Gate Client files. Please contact Technical Support @ 1-888-266-8705 or customer.service@schneider-electric.com to obtain the correct version of the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ redistributable package or please find the files as attached in the zip file below.
