When UPS in bypass mode means UPS failure and it Automatic bypass supplies power to the load by using input voltage.
Units without Bypass: Smart UPS SMC, SMT, SMX. If a fault comes one, it depends on fault severity.
The state of the UPS is either Online with Fault or will be Offline due to fault( drops load).
