Is it possible to write a command to an ION module in the PowerSCADA Operation runtime?
Issue
A user would like to write commands to an ION module in the PowerSCADA Operation runtime.

StruxureWare PowerSCADA Expert 8.0, 8.1
StruxureWare PowerSCADA Operation 8.2
Environment
Citect 7.20 or later
Cause
To write/update ION registers or modules within the runtime.
Resolution
This feature is not natively supported in PowerSCADA Expert 8.0/8.1 and PowerSCADA Operation 8.2.
An update to the ION device driver (Version: 1.00.06.002 - 02/02/2017) in PowerSCADA Operation was released with the following changes:
ION Standard Security was implemented in the driver to support write commands.
The updated ION device driver for PSO is attached below.
