Graphic Display terminal VW3A1111 of Altivar Variable speed drives (ATV6xx/ATV9xx) used for RESET function
The VW3A1111 Graphic Display Terminal can be used to perform a drive RESET on Altivar ATV6xx / ATV9xx drives, regardless of the configured control channel.
However, this functionality must be explicitly enabled in the drive parameters.
Parameter setting
Navigate to:
5.5 Command and Reference → Stop key Enable (PST parameter)
Default value: Yes

Key configuration
When set to All, the drive reset function via the VW3A1111 terminal is enabled for all control channels
This allows the reset to be executed independently of the active control mode (e.g. terminals, fieldbus, HMI)
Practical implication
Without selecting All, the reset command may be restricted by the active control channel
For maintenance and troubleshooting, setting All ensures that the HMI reset is always available
